The winery is located on the banks of the Duero River – specifically, in the village of Aldehorno, just north of the province of Segovia, on the Burgos border. As the first Segovian winery, we were founded in 2006 with close to 75 acres of vineyards. Our wines will enter the U.S. market under the Perez Veros label. We produce wines made with the region’s signature red grape, Tempranillo. The vineyards, which are between five and twenty years old, are located in the districts of Aldehorno, Haza and Fuentenebro, where the the grapes are grown at an altitude of up to 3,280 feet, which gives the wines unique characteristics that set them apart from those of the rest of the area. Grape selection is carried out in the vineyard, along with green pruning and the thinning of clusters. The wine is fermented in a temperature-controlled environment, in 16-ton stainless steel tanks, and aged in French oak casks.

Visual Phase: Purplish-red, very vivid and intense colour with bluish bright reflections, which denote its freshness and variety. Aromatic phase: High-concentration of red ripe fruits, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, recalling with all its freshness the Tempranillo variety freshly harvested. Creamy background and lactic with original shades of shrub layer and fine, sweet bakery bouquets. Gustatory phase: Pronounced entrance due to the more of 1000 meters of height where its vineyards are grown. Remarkable acidity which contributes to bring freshness and a sense of vivacity; also, the high tannic load is balanced by the glyceric and oily feelings, conferring a levelled and intense taste through the mouth. Tasting Notes

Visual Phase: Cherry-red colour with purplish iridescences of middle-upper layer. Aromatic phase: Clean, high aromatic intensity, with an excellent integration among the typical remarks of the variety, berry fruits, blackberry, redcurrant, strawberry… and the typical ones from going through cask, balsamic wood, sweet toasts, remarks of toasted bread and vanilla. There appear slight memories of hazelnut cream. Gustatory phase: Soft, warm entrance, with no edges. With a round way through the mouth and a very integrated tannin. Balanced acidity and log post-taste with volume and memories of toasted and sugared ripe fruit. The final taste is intense and persistent.

Slight final balsamic shades, eucalyptus and even empireumatics, vine cane smoke. Gustatory phase: It keeps in the mouth this complex explosion of olfactory sensations, with a warm and harmonious entrance. It becomes embracing, with a nice and sweetened tannin.
