The winery is located on the banks of the Duero River – specifically, in the village of Aldehorno, just north of the province of Segovia, on the Burgos border. As the first Segovian winery, we were founded in 2006 with close to 75 acres of vineyards. Our wines will enter the U.S. market under the Perez Veros label. We produce wines made with the region’s signature red grape, Tempranillo. The vineyards, which are between five and twenty years old, are located in the districts of Aldehorno, Haza and Fuentenebro, where the the grapes are grown at an altitude of up to 3,280 feet, which gives the wines unique characteristics that set them apart from those of the rest of the area. Grape selection is carried out in the vineyard, along with green pruning and the thinning of clusters. The wine is fermented in a temperature-controlled environment, in 16-ton stainless steel tanks, and aged in French oak casks.

Tasting Notes

Visual phase: Red purplish brilliant color of medium-high cape. Bluish and purple reflections typical of the variety Aromatic phase: Average but persistent intensity, a little closed in aromas so it is recommended to oxygenate. Red fruits in balance with the alcohol such as raspberry, acid strawberry. Original vegetable shades of scrubland, bush and finally sweet aromas of bakery. Gustatory phase: Entry marked by the 1000 meters of height where his vineyards are grown. Remarkable acidity that will give stability over time. Slightly astringent tannin but it will get smoother in due time.

Tasting Notes

Visual phase: Ruby red color with purplish sparklings of medium-high cape. Aromatic phase: Medium-high clean aromatic intensity, with notes of balsamic wood when the glasss isn’t moving, and of sweet and spiced toasting after its oxygenation. It clearly appears a deep down variety of red fruits over more soil-like and clayly taste. The initial alcoholic sensation also goes off. Gustatory phase: Soft, hot entry, without edges. With a round step in mouth of almost integrated tannin. Balanced acidity and average posttaste with volume and memories of toastings.
