Bodega Convento San Francisco was founded by the Pitarch and Garcia families in 1998. It is situated on the ruins of an ancient 13th-century Franciscan convent in Peñafiel, Valladolid. Our philosophy is to respect ancient traditions while using the latest technologies to produce great wines. We only elaborate one wine a year, and when the harvest is excellent we release a few bottles of Special Selection.
