A family-owned winery, Bodega Nuestra Señora del Rio was founded in 1957, and is one of the oldest in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. The winery was refurbished in 2000, and sources grapes from multiple growers in the region, holding long-term contracts with Tinta del País (Tempranillo) vines with more than 60 years of age. A hybrid of tradition and modernity, the winery enjoys a privileged location in Ribera del Duero and benefits from the area’s unique geography and microclimates.

Tasting Notes

Cherry Red place setting color, with light iodines tones. Nose intense, complex notes betwen toastings, regaliz and red fruits in preserves. Very well combined. Ample and fleshy, noble tannin and fruit o`clock sweet tooth. Great structure and persistence.

Tasting Notes

Cutlery cherry-red, with clear garnets shades. Great aromatic complexity, Emphasizing brightly the fruits currants, blackberries, etc., on a fund of fine wood, perfectly integrated in the wine. It is shown tasty and powerful, with great equilibrium between the wood and the fruit, resulting a very long taste.

Tasting Notes

Intense cherry-Red with light caoba tones. Clean and soothing, aromas of currant fruit and preserved with cacao, regaliz and aromatic woods. Clean taste and fleshy, very powerful, with pleasant tannin that persist.
