Founded in 1964, Bodega San Mames Winery is a cooperative of 250 members from a group of villages located south of Roa: Fuentecén, Fuentelisendo, Fuentemolinos, Haza, Hoyales, Adrada de Haza, La Sequera, Valdezate, and Nava de Roa. A driver of the local economy and a wine star in the region, Bodega San Mames has invested more than 2 million Euros in the improvement of installations, including state of the art facilities for stainless steel fermentation and barrels. San Mames produces a range of 100% Tempranillo wines, including roble, crianza, rosé, and harvest selection.
