Founded in 2004, Bodegas Asenjo y Manso is a boutique winery located in the La Horra area (Burgos). With full control of their 20-80 year old vines, the winery pursues quality grapes and in turn winemaking. Yields are limited to approximately 180,000 kilos, made into two wines and approximately 2,700 bottles under the Ceres and Silvanus labels. Ceres is currently transitioning to an organic wine, driven by the intense fruit which is a character of the vineyards. Already recognized by Master of Wine Martin Moran as a winery to watch, Bodegas Asenjo y Manso is a young company with great potential.
