Bodegas Félix Callejo is located in Sotillo de la Ribera, at the heart of Ribera del Duero. From its birth in 1989, the venture has thrived because of the enthusiasm and drive that the Callejo family has dedicated to it. With more than 250 acres of planted vineyards, Callejo wines are made from the Tempranillo or Tinta Fina variety of grapes. Their vineyards in Sotillo de la Ribera are located at an altitude of 2800 feet on small, south-facing slopes. Lime-rich soil of ideal texture, from the Miocene era, together with the characteristically mild climate of the area creates the ideal conditions for the growth and development of the vines.
