Bodegas y Viņedos Hacienda Monasterio has a 20-year tradition of creating fine, age worthy wines. Planted on a total of 172 acres, the vineyards combine limestone and sediment, and are planted 78% Tempranillo, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 2% Malbec. The sloping vineyards have southern exposure. The winery facility was built in 1991 by architect Phillipe Marziers in a modern style. We work with the latest technical advances to respect the integrity of our fruit, namely cooling vats, gravity reception, and sorting tables. Our wines are aged in fine French oak.

The 2006 has an attractive wine has a britllant, deep red colour. On the nose there are beautiful fresh fruit aromas. On the palate here is a good balance betwen the fruit and the acidity with me oak. Is ready for to drink or laid down a lot years.

This a fully mature wine deep an dark colour. On de nose there are a fruity aromas of raspberry and blackecurrant with spicy hints. Itī round with good backbone and lingering finish. It can be drunk now or laid down a lot of years.
