Roa de Duero, in the province of Burgos, set in the River Duero Valley, is an auspicious area for the cultivation of vineyards due to its ideal elevation and climate. Bodegas Lambuena, a family business founded in 1989, boasts a viticultural tradition that has grown from a 25-acre operation 15 years ago to a 150-acre spread of land planted with its own vineyards. We grow mainly Tinta del País, but also Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Thanks to our new facility, we will soon be able to produce 500,000 bottles of quality wine. Additionally, we already have a cellar containing 500 barrels of American and French oak, renewed periodically, every four years. The staff comprises 10 people, including two oenologists, Pedro Cabestrero and his sister, Ana Cabestrero, who together make the wine, as well as a grape grower, their brother, Andrés Cabestrero.
