At the end of the eighties a dream came to reality in the land of Ribera del Duero. A group of families with considerable winemaking experience throughout Castilla y Leon purchased the largest cooperative of San Antolín, and Bodegas Señorío de Nava began wine production in Ribera del Duero. Situated in Nava de Roa south of Burgos, the winery benefits from fantastic soil in the valley between Peñafiel and Roa de Duero. The winery has the appearance of a classic French château and is currently undergoing expansion. The winery owns 350 acres in the very best soil of the region, planted to Tinta Fina, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the varieties allowed by the Consejo Regulador.
