A family-owned and run company devoted to making high-expression wines, Bodegas de los Ríos Prieto S. L , was founded in Pesquera de Duero, close to the banks of the Duero River. Félix de los Ríos, who established the winery, is an innovative man who loves the land and wine. In 2000, he decided to continue his family’s tradition and started making wine by using not only the latest technological advances but also the skills he learned over decades. In the early years, the de los Ríos family was producing very small amounts of wine, but in 2002, they decided to market their wine beyond the Ribera del Duero region.
